<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>During the social adaptation of children with autism spectrum disorders, there are many difficulties associated with both speech disorders of varying severity and the problem of establishing emotional ties. Social adaptation is an adaptation to the environment, the relationship between a person and the environment, during which the requirements and expectations of the parties gradually begin to coincide. Children with autism spectrum disorders have a desire to maintain constancy, the avoidance of communication, as well as emotional and physical contact, the desire for loneliness. The aim of the work is to discuss the need for such children to be in the environment of an ordinary children’s team, accepting the experience of peers, the preservation of intelligence. The authors describe one clinical case of a patient with an autism spectrum disorder who graduated from a general education school accompanied by a tutor and regular speech therapy classes.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>социальная адаптация</kwd><kwd>расстройства аутистического спектра</kwd><kwd>врач-психиатр</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>social adaptation</kwd><kwd>autism spectrum disorders</kwd><kwd>psychiatrist</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Davydova, Y.
