Группой сравнения служили женщины, проживающие в том же регионе Беларуси, но у которых беременность наступила после распада радиоизотопа йода. Возраст женщин в обеих группах в момент беременности составлял 22–24 года, срок беременности 21–23 недели. За счет инкорпорации радиоактивного йода была сформирована средняя поглощенная доза на орган 60–80 мГр. Заболеваемость эндокринной системы у женщин была выражена, в основном, за счет заболеваний щитовидной железы, нарушений питания и обмена веществ (ожирение). Кумулятивная заболеваемость в основной группе мало чем отличалась от заболеваемости в группе сравнения. На основании приведенных данных делается вывод о нерадиационной природе выявленной патологии, которую можно связать с избытком стабильного йода за счет его поступления с продуктами питания и применения во время беременности йодосодержащих лекарственных препаратов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This publication analyzes the long-term pathology associated with thyroid function in women who were pregnant in April 1986 and, as a result of the Chernobyl accident, received radiation due to the incorporation of radioactive iodine. The comparison group consisted of women living in the same region of Belarus, but whose pregnancy occurred after the decay of the iodine radioisotope. The age of women in both groups at the time of pregnancy was 22–24 years, the gestation period was 21–23 weeks. Due to the incorporation of radioactive iodine, an average absorbed dose of 60–80 mGy was generated. The incidence of endocrine system diseases in women was expressed mainly due to diseases of the thyroid gland, nutritional and metabolic disorders (obesity). The cumulative incidence in the main group was not much different from the incidence in the comparison group.
